Original or attested copies of all transcripts, diplomas, mark sheets and certificates from all secondary and post-secondary schools attended are required.

All credentials must be official, original documents or notarized attested copies of the original. Copies, faxes and scanned documents will not be accepted.  Documents must be mailed in a sealed envelope directly from a secondary school, examination board or university (see mailing address below) or emailed to admissions@salisbury.edu.

Transfer applicants must submit credentials from  non-U.S. institutions  to a credential evaluation agency for a course-by-course evaluation with a grade point average (GPA) calculation.  Ê¯ÁñÊÓƵ recommends a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (www.naces.org).  The credential evaluation report must be sent directly from the evaluation service to the Office of Admissions.

ʯÁñÊÓƵ recommends SpanTran () , WES (), or any of the credential service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (). Applicants must select ʯÁñÊÓƵ (admissions@salisbury.edu) as the recipient of the official online evaluation report, or request that the report be sent directly to admissions@salisbury.edu or to the address below.

ʯÁñÊÓƵ requires all international applicants from a non-English speaking country to submit proof of English proficiency.

English proficiency can be demonstrated by submitting/completing ONE of the following official scores/programs:

1. Completion of ʯÁñÊÓƵ’s English Language Institute or another approved English Language partner of ʯÁñÊÓƵ.
2. TOEFL (ʯÁñÊÓƵ Code: 5403)
   • 79 iBT or higher
   • 550 pBT or higher
3. IELTS
   • 6.5 or higher overall band score (5.5 minimum in each band). Have scores sent to "ʯÁñÊÓƵ, Office of Admissions.
4. SAT (ʯÁñÊÓƵ Code: 5403)
   
   • SAT Critical Reading (old) – 420
5. ACT (ʯÁñÊÓƵ Code: 1716)
   • English Section Only - top 25 percentile
6. British Ordinary Level English Language Exam (GCE/GCSE/IGCSE)
   • Grade of A, B or C in First-Language English. Submit original or certified true copy of certificate
7. EIKEN
   • pre - 1 level

Conditional Admission 
Prospective undergraduate students who meet all admission requirements except for English proficiency will be offered conditional admission to SU.

Note: Score results must be from a test taken within the past three years.  Official test scores must be sent directly from the testing organization to ʯÁñÊÓƵ.  A student's complete application is holistically reviewed before a decision is made and meeting the minimum English proficiency score does not guarantee admission.
