SU Student Emergency Grant
Financial assistance is available for current students, both undergraduate and graduate, who encounter a sudden and unexpected emergency. Examples eligible emergency expenses include:
- Replacement of certain essential personal belongings due to fire, theft, or natural disaster
- Emergency vehicle repairs or temporary transportation costs resulting from emergency vehicle repairs
- Emergency or temporary housing and/or food assistance
- Educational (e.g., books or supplies required for courses)
- Unreimbursed and unexpected healthcare expenses (e.g., medical, dental, mental health) if unable to use University resources
- Emergency medical, dental, and mental health expenses, including prescriptions, not covered by insurance
- Limited travel assistance related to issues covered by the Emergency Absence Policy (death or illness of an immediate family member)

SU Student Emergency Grant
The SU Student Emergency Grant supports students in need of immediate and essential financial help stemming from a temporary and unanticipated hardship. The maximum grant award can be up to $750.
